Vegan versus vegetarian

Vegetarians generally do not consume any animal or meat products (like fish, chicken, pork, and beef), but some vegetarians consume dairy products and eggs.

Veganism on the other hand is the strictest form of vegetarian. Vegans do not consume animal derived food, including dairy products and eggs. Vegans believe that the animals are not here to be exploited by man, so they do not wear products that is made from animals (like leather, silk, fur and wool) and also avoid using body care products that come from animals and even household cleaners that are tested on animals.

A vegan is a vegetarian but a vegetarian does not mean he/she is a vegan.
